Trudy Christian 是多米尼克国立大学校长兼多米尼克孔子课堂多方院长，女性健康脱口秀节目《The Spill》的制作人和主持人，电台节目《Jolly's Pharmacy Health Vibes》主持人。她的研究主要关注公共卫生安全，涉及慢性病和流行病在多米尼克人群中的表现和传播等，曾发表数篇相关国际期刊论。

讲座内容：

This lecture will cover some details about the Caribbean island of Dominica and its unique topography and vulnerability to climate impacts. It will also highlight how Dominica has sought to become known as a tourist destination, specializing in a unique brand of tourist offerings geared toward sustainable living and limited pollution and destruction of the environment. The lecture will also capture the economic peculiarities faced by the country and how it has tried to manage challenging economic times. The major focus of the lecture will then be how the lone public tertiary education institution in Dominica, the Dominica State College, has been structured to serve a population living in the unique setting which is Dominica. The diversity of the programmes offered at the Dominica State College will be expounded on and its ideal offerings to those willing to explore and learn in a multicultural setting explained.
